A Lasting Impact.

The Still family has established the Colin Barnes Still OPC ‘08 Scholarship Fund. Established in 2024 for an Upper School student who demonstrates financial need, is a multi-sport athlete, including preferably lacrosse, and who exhibits tenacity, leadership, and intensity in the classroom and as an athlete.

About the Scholarship

The Colin Barnes Still OPC ’08 Scholarship Fund was created by Jill Wilcox Still and Jim Still OPC ’75, their sons Derek OPC ’05 and Ryan OPC ’03, and Colin’s wife, Ericha Lutter Still, to honor their son, brother and husband.  Colin was an outstanding scholar-athlete who excelled in the classroom and on the athletic fields.  As a leader of his friends and teammates, Colin exhibited a passion and intensity for learning, competition, and respect for others.  The Colin Barnes Still OPC '08 Scholarship is intended to reflect the rich heritage of the Penn Charter student-athlete as exemplified by our son, brother, husband, and friend. About Penn Charter

Colin was a proud OPC ‘08 who greatly valued his friends, teachers, administrators, coaches and teammates. PC held a special place in Colin’s heart and he’d be thrilled that those close to him will support others to benefit from the same education he received.

Penn Charter is a pre-K to 12 coed Friends school. William Penn and the Religious Society of Friends established the school in 1689. Originally located in Old City, the school moved to Philadelphia's East Falls neighborhood in the 1920s. The school provides tuition aid to ~47% of its students on a need-based financial aid model, and the Colin Barnes Still OPC ‘08 Scholarship will be used to help fund the tuition expenses of students who attend Penn Charter but cannot afford the full tuition.
