Transportation
For those coming from NYC, the closest train station (~3m from Creek) is Locust Valley.
For those coming only to the cocktail reception, recommended train is the 3:45pm from Penn Station, arriving Locust Valley at 5:04pm.

Uber/Lyft to/from NYC is ~60m and recommended for the trip back, as LIRR runs infrequently at night from Locust Valley.
For those coming from CT via boat, The Creek offers mooring. Please contact Derek directly if you plan to utilize this option.

For those coming from out of town and looking to stay overnight, the family suggests inquiring with The Mansion at Glen Cove, Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn and The Roslyn Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
Attire & Lockers
Pants or Bermuda length shorts, collared shirts. No blue jeans, cargo shorts or metal spiked golf shoes.
Lockers to store clothes will be available, as will showers in between golf and the cocktail reception.

A one-time-only event
For one time only, we are hosting an event to fund the CBS Scholarship Fund. There will be a golf outing on September 17, 2024, at The Creek in Locust Valley, New York. More information will be provided on this fun opportunity. In addition to golf, folks who might want to just attend the cocktail reception after are also more than welcome.

Contributions to this fund extend the goodwill that Colin extended to the world.
Contributors can name their contribution in whatever way suits their interests. Contributions will be to a 501(c)(3) foundation established by the family or direct contributions to Penn Charter. Contributions made directly to Penn Charter may be on a one time basis or over a multi-year period. Sponsorships will be featured on a plaque to be placed in a prominent place at William Penn Charter School and will be noted in all correspondence to our mailing list of roughly 1,000 family members and friends!
